About The Project
Current Efforts
Our teams are focused on finalizing all field studies necessary for environmental impact assessment processes, the preparation of authorization requests and detailed project engineering to start forest clearing in Fall 2024. Construction is expected to follow in 2025 and 2026.
Liaison Committee
The Liaison Committee of the PPAW wind project started its work in September 2023. In addition to Invenergy representatives, the committee is comprised of representatives of the following organizations :

- Témiscouata Chamber of Commerce
- Bas-Saint-Laurent Regional Environment Counsel

- Fédération québécoise des Clubs Quad (FQCQ)

Mission and Modus Operandi
The Liaison Committee's mission is to promote the exchange of information between the host community and Invenergy. It addresses issues relating to the development, construction and operation of the wind farm in accordance with the values of the wind farm's co-owners, Invenergy and l'Alliance de l'énergie de l'Est. Committee members are appointed for a three-year term on the basis of their interest and experience. They may be reappointed at the end of the three-year term.

- Questions or comments will be followed up promptly after the committee meeting at which they were discussed. In addition, meeting minutes will be published on this site within a week of their adoption, making the information public.
